I've always loved Chili's because of the food. However, this particular branch just turned me off today. At around 8pm, I was waiting in line for a booth by the TV so my friends and I can watch the Heat game and there was a couple waiting also before us. The host told them that the dirty table being cleaned at the moment was for them and when he stepped away for a bit, some fat white chick walked right by us; she looked like she was looking for somebody... Next thing we know, she went ahead and sat on that table that was intended for the couple. I could hear that girl saying to her friends "I came in, saw the table so I went ahead and took it." When we complained to the host, he went ahead and called his manager. When the manager came out to speak to the couple, he said "I'm sorry but I can't tell her to leave." We both told him that she didn't even go through the line. The manager didn't even approach the girl. He just went ahead and gave the lady a card for her to call. The couple left really pissed and I didn't like the way the situation was handled. We left Chili's and went to another sports bar instead. The manager was too scared to talk to that fat chick coz he didn't want to lose her as a customer, but guess what? Chili's just lost some loyal customers tonight.

It's just ok, as I have found all the Chili's restaurants in this area to be. This one was busier than other locations but still pretty empty when we went. We did wait a bit long to be seated (I'm not sure where the hostess ran off to). The wait staff were friendly and the food is good. The all day 2 for 1 drinks are a good deal.

Service was fast and the food came out great. Their chicken margarita was moist and the new bacon jack chicken was excellent. Our server was wonderful. When our avocado appetizer was too spicy for me she brought me a new avocado appetizer. I didn't even ask for it! She even gave us additional chips & salsa to go. :-)

Well this one really was a bummer. To begin with once we entered we asked for a booth and found out they were short staffed. Which we didn't mind until not only us but other seated parties had been seated yet after 45 minutes had not received their entry. Not to mention that our order was incorrect . While that was going on we didn't get refills on our drinks until asked. The food was extremely unsatisfactory, never have I ever disliked chilis food this much!!!!! It was so frustrating that we ended up paying our bills through the little device placed on the table. Our food was not even worthy to be taken home. Now my sister at this time pointed out to me that a previous party who left also deserted most of their food. Literally almost 76% of their food was still there. Although we did leave a tip understanding their situation it also was a beyond unpleasant experience and will not be returning!!!!!

Worst Chili's I've ever been to! The food came out before our drinks (beers, mind you). The manager came up in a dancing groove and delivered our food...I asked how food is here before our drinks..he showed no concern and just said "hold on I'll get your waitress". The waitress came up and stated the bartender was taking a table of 15 . What?? Why is the (only) bartender taking such a large party? Apparently some sense was finally knocked into her on her walk back towards the bar because she finally took some initiative and poured the beers herself..after already waiting 13 min for some beers. Great! My sons chicken fingers were cold. But my southwest egg rolls weren't so bad so hey, they can at very least have 1 star.

8/27/13 Cockroach in Chili's - Pembroke Pines, FL, on University Dr. just north of Pines Blvd. Mgmt did nothing; upper Mgmt refused to do something to remedy this negative situation despite my request, and now I will contact the Health Dept and fulfill my promise to hold them accountable for their negative attitude, reckless disregard to make this negative situation right for me and to protect the public from this cockroach hazard. For some reasons, every time when I go to this Chili's I don't receive good service. The salad that I ordered had way too much dressing on it. The Happy Hour Margarita BOGO is so water down. It's no wonder they are so cheap. I only go because of my coworkers.

The location doesn't do the chain justice. From the wait staff to the host, you can tell the dynamic here is very relaxed, to a fault. The food is not the issue, it's the atmosphere with the employees. Our server was average, the time spent waiting for open tables was average and our overall experience was average. I agree with the other posts... Go to another location if you are looking for that "chilis" experience.

The worst Chili's I have ever been to in my entire life. The service is unbearable slow, even if there is only 3 or 4 tables in the entire restaurant. The food is mediocre. And the staff are rude. I work close to here so I've ordered to go a few times after the slow service. I ordered ahead so it would be ready. 30 minutes later I'm STILL waiting on "to go" here. Don't waste your time.

Came here with a girl friend around 4 PM on a Saturday. We decided to sit at the bar for a quick bite and some Corona-ritas. Which by the way is the ultimate combination! Whoever thought of Corona and margs together... Gold star for you. Try the Corona-rita with the pomegranate juice and sugar on the rim instead. Mmmm mmmm. We ordered our drinks and did the 2 for $20 deal (one appetizer and two full sized entrees) which all came out quick and yummy. Prompt service and decent food. Why nots. For me, there's other places in the area that I'd like to try out that would probably be more exciting - however, for two gals that needed to get food asap while enjoying the FSU game, Chili's did the trick.

Went here for dinner last night. Not able to sleep with my stomach aching all night. Will not be returning to the place. Our waitress was a little blah. Kitchen was so blah as well. The one in aventura makes it way better. My friend and I got two for $20. I got fajitas and added shrimp. Now I regret it with stomach growling all night . Maybe they need an inspector to come out and investigate!

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Chilis. The one by my house in sawgrass is amazing. Great staff and good service. This Chilis, which is across the street from my job is the exact opposite. I ordered classic nachos (my favorite) and it came out different than what I'm usually used to. It had a horrible seasoning on it. But that was whatever. I still ate it. Halfway through the nachos a FREAKING ROACH crawled up the wall next to my table!! I was so disgusted I couldn't finish my meal. I paid on their little computer and did the survey explaining why I will never ever go back to this dirty ass Chilis!

This place is horrible!!!! I've eaten at many Chilis before and then service has not been as aweful as it has been in this location. There was no one to greet us or sit us down at a table. We waited for 10 minutes to be seat when there were plenty of tables available. It took another 10 min to get a waiter to the table. Although she was nice they messed up our order. The food wasn't good at all. They have cut a lot of corners and the food quality is not the same as it was before. I love Chilis but this locations should be shut down until they hire/train better staff/cooks. Oh buy the way they have new tablets where you can pay and play games and even if you don't use it they still charge you a .99 fee for entertainment!!!

Really a three and a half and that is more for the waitstaff than the food. The waitstaff was service oriented. My husband always had plenty of water. I thoroughly enjoyed my guacamole burger. I substituted the meat with a black bean burger. Very tasty but very messy. The bread just fell apart. My husband did not have that issue with his sandwich. Decent fries. Crisp but they did not taste fresh.. The bread in my sandwich did have a nice buttery finish. They also have these ziosk things where you can order drinks and desserts and pay your bill. I did not use it and found it distracting.

I would give them 1/2 a star if it was possible. Got here and had to wait 20 min to be seated and another 10 to get a drink. The sad part is that the restaurant wasn't even packed. More than half of the restaurant was empty. The people behind us left and it took the person that was cleaning (not sure if it was the manager or what since he was wearing casual clothes ) more than 30 min to clean the table and at the end he moved all the dirty dishes from 1 table to another whipped the table and left the dirty dishes on the clean now dirty table. The order comes out wrong and I have to wait even longer for the right meal to come out. I get better service at McDONALDS!!! And it looks like they got rid of half the staff and put those fancy tablets on the tables which are only good for 3 things; order dessert and play games. Why not make it so we can order from there and cut the middle men. Oh sorry and to pay. At least I didn't have to wait 30min for the waitress to come back for my bill I did that on the fancy tablet. The sad part of all of this is that I will only get worst!!! I guess we will have to find a new spot to eat on those lazy days.

This will officially be my first Yelp review, but not my last. Yesterday, on a Saturday, my wife, son, and I entered Chili's and were greeted by the hostess with a hello and a "I'm not sure how long it'll take". As we waited, I noticed half the restaurant was packed, but the other half was completely empty. I queried the hostess on the empty half and she told us that they didn't have enough servers (not sure why they wouldn't think to schedule more servers to work on a Saturday night). After 20 minutes, we were seated. On our way to the table, we noticed a strong smell of very burnt food. Once seated, we waited an additional 10 minutes for the server to even acknowledge us and take our drink orders. My wife ordered a soda and I asked for a Long Island Iced Tea. After ordering our drinks, my 2 year old son wanted to say Hello to the server. He's an extremely friendly, lovable, and outgoing child. The server didn't even acknowledge him, which angered my wife and I. When our drinks arrived, my Long Island was more like lemonade. I couldn't taste any alcohol. Our server was nowhere to be seen so after waiting nearly 10 minutes, I was finally able to flag her down just so that I can have her fix my drink. After another 10 minutes she came back with our appetizer (Fried Cheese), but forgot to give us napkins and my drink. 5 minutes after that, she came with my drink, but it was still watered down. She told me that I needed to order PREMIUM to get "top shelf" liquor. First, I never specified the 2 for 1 deal. Second, the menu only shows the PREMIUM Long Island Iced Tea. She asked if there was anything else I needed so I told her a straw and some napkins. When our food finally arrived, some 40 minutes after being seated, we had to ask our server for utensils, more napkins, and an additional plate for my ribs. My ribs were supposed to come with a side of sauce, since I got the Memphis Dry Rub, but it didn't so I had to ask for that too. My wife ordered the Classic Sirloin. She asked for it medium rare, but it was cooked medium. My wife was fed up at this point and decided not to send the overcooked steak back. My son, excited about the Pepperoni Pizza he was about to eat, tried again to talk to the server. This time she looked at him, ignored him again, then walked away. Overall, the food here is good if cooked properly. Alcoholic drinks, not so much. The service is in much need of improvement. I'm not saying that all Chili's Restaurants are like this, but the one located on University Dr just north of Pines Blvd is not the pick of the litter.

Average, at best. We sat there for ten minutes before someone showed up to take our drink order. The place is very disorganized and doesn't run smoothly. Food was what you would expect at any other Chili's. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and since my meal came with an appetizer already, I asked if they could honor this coupon for a free dessert instead. The waiter immediately replied, No." What? Apparently, other Chili's are willing to do this so why can't you? I had to order another appetizer to use the coupon. The waiter actually wasn't terrible once we ordered and he did refill our drinks in a somewhat timely manner. This restauarnt just needs to work on running their shifts more smoothly and not allowing guests to sit there for ten minutes before they are attended to.

This place is horrible!! The host sat my boyfriend and I down at a table gave us menus stuck together with food. DISGUSTING! We waited for the waiter to at least greet us and bring us something to drink for 30 minutes and no sign. A waiter from the table next to us came and brought drinks to the their table and didn't even acknowledge we were there. We decided to walk out and never go back!

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. When we entered the place, we waited about a minute before someone acknowledged us told us we could sit on the bar area or be seated. We chose the booths near the bar. We waited about 5-10 minutes before A waitress approached us and asked for our drink orders. We waited about 10 minutes for the drinks To arrive. THEN we were asked for our food order. Food took about 15 minutes to come out. The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas were very greasy and burnt on the edges. My husbands ribs and fries were "okay". The waitress never returned to see if we needed water or napkins or to check if everything was okay - we had to flag her down to catch her attention. She took my husbands cup to refill his water... But 15 minutes later never returned. When we asked for our bill , she finally realized he never brought him the cup of water. Will not be returning to this Chilis. Very disappointing.

I had a coupon for a free appetizer and since my meal came with an appetizer already, I asked if they could honor this coupon for a free dessert instead. The waiter immediately replied, No." What? Apparently, other Chili's are willing to do this so why can't you? I had to order another appetizer to use the coupon. The waiter actually wasn't terrible once we ordered and he did refill our drinks in a somewhat timely manner. This restauarnt just needs to work on running their shifts more smoothly and not allowing guests to sit there for ten minutes before they are attended to.

I have never had a bad experience at Chili's. The food is always good and so is the service.

This place is horrible!! The host sat my boyfriend and I down at a table gave us menus stuck together with food. DISGUSTING! We waited for the waiter to at least greet us and bring us something to drink for 30 minutes and no sign. A waiter from the table next to us came and brought drinks to the their table and didn't even acknowledge we were there. We decided to walk out and never go back!

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. When we entered the place, we waited about a minute before someone acknowledged us told us we could sit on the bar area or be seated. We chose the booths near the bar. We waited about 5-10 minutes before A waitress approached us and asked for our drink orders. We waited about 10 minutes for the drinks To arrive. THEN we were asked for our food order. Food took about 15 minutes to come out. The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas were very greasy and burnt on the edges. My husbands ribs and fries were "okay". The waitress never returned to see if we needed water or napkins or to check if everything was okay - we had to flag her down to catch her attention. She took my husbands cup to refill his water... But 15 minutes later never returned. When we asked for our bill , she finally realized he never brought him the cup of water. Will not be returning to this Chilis. Very disappointing.
